“Hansel and Gretel” is one of the most popular fairy tales in children’s literature. The Brothers Grimm gave it to children at the beginning of the 19th century. Our idea is to show the youngest this fairy tale in the form of an opera for kids, in which three characters appear: Hansel, Gretel and the Witch.
In this musical performance, we influence the youngest with different emotions – joy, sadness, anger, despair are just some of them. With singing, acting and interesting scenography, we brought this famous story to life, to which children do not remain indifferent. This is another author’s work by Marija and Branislav Cvijić.
The opera for kids “Ivica and Marica” premiered on November 20, 2022 at the Cultural Station “Eđšeg” in Novi Sad. The performance lasts about 30 minutes and is intended for children aged 2-14.
