Opera for the children “Bash Chelik” is the first music work written on the topic of Serbian fairy tales. The youngest have the opportunity to step into the world of the imagination of Serbian heroes. It is the world of giants, dragons, the struggle of good and evil, presented in a comical, fun and educational way.
In eight pictures, kids have the opportunity to identify themselves with the main character, with a prince or with a princess, who with their love and devotion to true values will defeat Bash Chelik and giants and thus find happiness. The story of “Bash Chelik” is not simple, it requires the engagement of a large number of people, behind the scenes and on the scene. A large number of costumes, rotating scenography, demanding music and directing contribute to the positive situation of engaging a large number of people and creating something new and significant for our culture.
