On October 17, 2021, the association of artists "Visoko C" premiered the opera for children "Cvrčak i mrav" at the Cultural Station "Eđšeg" in Novi Sad.
Aesop's fable "The Cricket and the Ant" has found its place in children's literature as one of the most loved and sought after stories. We are presented with a simple lesson of this story, which is: "He who works, he has" or "He who works is not afraid of hunger."
The project is designed for children to participate interactively all the time, so that in one part of the play they stand on the side of the cricket, and in the other part on the side of the ant. The controversy about whether it is better to play or work or work with a gig and a song is a challenge for us to make children think about what is the right thing.
In addition to crickets and ants, a forest fairy appears in the role of narrator, who communicates with the children, sings and recites the story. The work is designed for children up to 11 years old.
